I purchased this as a decorative accent in a newly remodeled master bath. This is nice looking and quaint, has an antique look. I would not say it is a 'functional' mirror and size is not as listed. Fully open it measures 20/21" wide by 23" tall. Also note that the shutters do not open fully, so they do not lay flush against the wall. They jut out about 3-4" . Overall a very nice decorative accent for a very decent price.
