Don't worry, the static cling film is very easy to apply! Step 1. Carefully measure the height and width of the glass surface and cut out the same size window film.Step 2. Thoroughly clean the surface of the glass.Step 3. Slowly peel off the clear backing. A helper is especially necessary when applying film to large windows.Step 4. Wetting the smooth side of the film and glass surface with water. (Soapy water will be better) .Step 5. Pick up the film by the top corners, keeping it straight and level. Place the wet film onto the wet glass surface and smooth with hands.Step 6. Squeegee away water and air bubbles from the center moving out.Step 7. Trim the excess film from the edges using a hard card and a razor knife.Enjoy your works!Tips:1, Please make sure the window surface, edges and corners are clean enough without any dust and remember to peel off the clear backing film before installation.2, Please must peel off backing protective film when do application.3, Please spray a lot of water both on the window surface and window film back during installation for effective attachment.4, In the cold winter, the window film will become hard, please use warm water to soak or use a hair dryer to soften it. These ways can also be used when the edges are curled.

Definitely keeps the light out really well other than around the edges where I trimmed it too short. they do have lines on the back of it to help, I am just terrible at cutting it straight. Only thing it needs a design on the back as well cause looks boring from outside.
